The School
Heritage House School is a community special school for children
(ages 2 to 19 years) with severe learning difficulties. We have four
departments including a department for pupils who have autism and
learning difficulties. Our mission is to provide high quality care and
education for all our pupils.
OFSTED tell us we are a GOOD school with some features described as
OUTSTANDING.
We have a large group of staff who are highly trained to support our
pupils to make progress, participate and have fun. The school
specialises in meeting the needs of children with a variety of needs;
autism, visual impairment, sensory processing difficulties and motor
co-ordination problems. We have a wide variety of
resources available to us, enabling our highly skilled staff to meet
the needs of our pupils.
